David will be stimulating, encouraging and supporting each of us in meeting the challenges / opportunities before us.

Opportunity to provide time / space for Christian reflection and contribution
We all have overloaded schedules - so finding time to reflect is difficult for us all. So we hope you will see this as a God given opportunity to take quality time out from the normal pressures of academic life to think, plan reflect, be inspired and inspire others.

One of the unique things about C-A-N- is its cross-disciplinary nature - so this day offers a unique opportunity to gain insights into other discipline areas and how they might benefit our specialities as well as giving opportunity to help those in other disciples benefit from our own perspectives.

Who should come
The day is designed for a wide range of participants. Post-graduates and those starting their career are particularly welcomed as well seasoned academics. We all have our own questions and contributions to make.

During and following on from the day we intend to facilitate and help one another draft articles for submission for publication (or other opportunities) in order to disseminate our discussions, understandings, encouragements and insights to a much wider audience. Various publication outlets are currently available (including The Christian Higher Education journal which is particularly welcoming of British articles).

As a direct outcome of the previous conferences a number of journal article have been written. We look forward to more in 2013.

In order to encourage as many to come as possible the day has been subsidised by C-A-N-. Teas, coffees and lunch will be provided for £30 for those employed and £15 for post-graduate students and those not employed [with an ealry bird discount of £5 for all paid for bookings received by 4th February]
